What is in the car so far

BMW V12 M73, 5.4 litres

The big twelve-cylinder from the BMW parts shelf, boosted by two turbochargers. The experience behind it comes from the E36 V12 BiTurbo, built over eight years in this same workshop.

Gearbox on an adapter plate

An 01E gearbox sits behind the V12, joined by an adapter plate from PMC Motorsport. The same layout already proved itself in the E36.

Adjustable air suspension

The suspension is measured in and fitted. Firmness and ride height can both be set - for the road, for a show, and for loading onto the trailer.

Three-piece custom wheels

Made to measure: 11x17 on the front axle, 15x18 on the rear. The wheel arches have been cut provisionally to suit.

Where the build stands today

The bare build stands, engine and gearbox are in, the air suspension is fitted and the wheels are on. Bodywork comes next: a widebody in this workshop's own language, with shapes and wheel sizes well beyond stock.
